Nadi Downtown Hotel, Nadi

I had a great experience at this hotel in Nadi. The staff, especially Alisi and Chanda, went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome. The rooms were mostly nice and clean, although I did end up in a very small one on my last night that was quite cramped. The bar area was a cozy spot to meet other travelers. It’s in a central location with plenty of shops around, which was a plus, but occasional street noise could be a downside.

The Nadi backpackers inn is conveniently located with a free airport pickup service, making it easy to get there. However, the neighborhood felt unsafe, and the hidden charges for Wi-Fi and other amenities were quite frustrating. The rooms were in need of maintenance and lacked basic conveniences. Overall, it could be a decent option for budget travelers looking to explore, but be prepared for some downsides.

Staying at the Nadi Downtown Hotel was a pleasant surprise! I loved the central location, which allowed me to connect with local culture and people. The room was surprisingly spacious and well-equipped for the price, and the free shuttle to the airport was a great bonus. I chose to stay at this place because of its close proximity to the airport and the chance to do some shopping before my flight. Unfortunately, the room I booked turned out to be a boxed room with no windows, far from what was advertised. While the room was clean, the air conditioning didn’t work, and I was also woken up by noise from local couples arguing outside at 3am. The basic breakfast left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn't recommend this place unless absolutely necessary.
